I moved to Sweden in August with my lovely girlfriend and am hoping to cover all angles of the Nordic region for the international press.

I intend to try to keep on top of the breaking general and business news, but also taking a deeper look at sensible Scandinavian ideas on everything from social policy, to design, cooking  and the rest.  I’ll also try and do the odd science or travel feature.

Previously I was the Daily Telegraph’s Central Asia Correspondent, based in Kazakhstan. Before that I was a freelance journalist in Mumbai, India, for three years. And before that I was International Business Correspondent for The Business, an awarding-winning Sunday business paper which is now sadly defunct.
